PaRAED Study: Patient Reasons for Attendance at Emergency Departments

People attend emergency departments (such as A&E or or Minor Injury Units) for a variety of reasons. Usually this is for a good reason, but some people could have got the help they needed at an alternative service, such as a local pharmacy, their GP, or a walk-in centre. The University of Sheffield with the British Medical Association are conducting research to understand why people attend emergency departments and whether they considered other services.
